Frequently Asked Questions
What type of payment do you accept?
I accept payment in yen via paypal. I also accept payment via furikomi if you have a Japanese bank account,
Can I pay for my goods now and shipping later?
Payment is due in full before any goods will be shipped. I do not accept partial payments. You will need to pay for both your goods and shipping costs at the same time. The only time paying for shipping at a later date is acceptable is if your order is too large for the shipping calculator to calculate. In that instance, a 'pay for shipping later' shipping option will appear.
Have my goods been shipped?
You will receive a shipping confirmation once your order has shipped. If you have not yet received a confirmation email, then your order has not yet been shipped. The confirmation email is sent to the email address you list as your contact email when placing an order.
Can I combine orders?
Yes, but only if your original order has not yet been packed and shipped.
What is your refund and return policy? Can I cancel or change my order?
All orders are final! I do not offer refunds once an order is placed. I do not accept returns. I am also not able to change your order if you order incorrectly, so please double check your order before sending payment. You are welcome to add to an order, but cannot cancel an order for goods already paid for. The only time I will send a refund is if I am unable to purchase the items you have ordered.
What is your packaging like?
I do my best to package all items as safely and securely as possible. Pamphlets, uchiwa, photos, fliers and other delicate items ship with cardboard backing. All items are typical wrapped with bubble wrap and mailed in either a box or cushion envelope. I typically choose sending items in a cushion envelope whenever possible as envelopes are treated with more care than boxes by the post office and because they are not as heavy as boxes, which helps you save on shipping costs. Orders with 3 or more uchiwa, or uchiwa along with multiple other items ,must typically be shipped in a box simply due to their size. All posters ship in a poster tube that is then placed in triangle poster box for extra protection.
If you have any specific packaging requests, I am usually happy to fulfill them.
Even with the effort and care I take in packaging the items I send, sometimes items do get damaged in the post. Uchiwa and posters tend to be the items most prone to damage. Should any of your items become damaged in the mail, you are welcome to seek compensation from the post office, however, I cannot guarantee that the post office will provide a refund of any sort. Should you wish to file a claim, please start the process in your home country. Should you need any information from me, just ask! Also, occasionally it is necessary for buyers to cover various customs fees for larger/more expensive orders. Buyers are responsible for covering any and all customs fees.
Do you offer an auction bidding service?
I do accept the occasional request for auction bidding. However, it is somewhat of a hassle to monitor auctions, most of which finish midnight or later, and go to the bank in order to pay for winning bids. So I limit the number of requests I am willing to take on at any given time. Please note there are many fees associated with Yahoo auction. If you want me to bid for you, you are responsible for covering the final bid amount (up to your maximum bid), my service fee (20% of the final bid amount but no less than 300 yen), the bank transfer fee (250-410 yen depending on payment options available), domestic shipping to me (varies per auction), international shipping to you (varies per auction), and the paypal fee. Feel free to place any auction bidding request here.
How can I contact you?
Please check out the contact page. I also offer a live chat feature if you can catch me while I am online! You can also reach out over FB or twitter.
Where are you located?
JE Goods is a one woman shop operating out of Hiroshima, Japan. If you ever come to Japan for a concert and want to meet up, let me know. I love to meet up with fellow JE fans. I have already managed meet ups with several other JE fans and have always had a great time!
I want to join an FC and/or ballot for tickets. Can you help me?
If you have access to a Japanese phone number and address, I can help you with the initial sign up. If you do not have a Japanese phone number and address, then I will not be able to help you. I do not offer FC membership or ticket balloting services. These are not services that can be offered lightly so please be cautious and make sure to ask a lot of questions if you do find someone willing to do it. If I could figure out how to offer such services safely I would, but I have yet to find any sort of reliable method. My suggestion is to try your best to find someone living in Japan who is not already in the FC you would like to join, and who would be willing to let you use their phone and address information to sign up.
